WHAT’S WITH THE FLYING ROLLER SKATE?

Yes, our logo is a flying roller skate. And no, it wasn’t a late-night doodle that seemed like a good idea at the time. It was chosen for a reason. Fast, agile, and just a little bonkers. And maybe it will look good on a t shirt.

Because, let’s face it, advertising has become the opposite of fast and agile.  Heavy. Slow. And, thus, expensive. Whole departments tripping over each other to produce the same 120-slide deck, while the client’s opportunity window quietly slams shut. The networks call it “rigour.” We call it death by process, rather than life by creative genius.

Take WPP, or as their friends now call them, Wire and Plastic Products  Artificial Intelligence…Hmmmmm.

But slow and heavy isn’t the way entrepreneurs roll. And entrepreneurs are who we built Supermarket for. Entrepreneurs don’t like slow. Slow gives them ulcers. They don’t have time or money to waste. They need answers, clarity, and action. Fast. Or as the patron saint of entrepreneurs, Richard Branson would say, ‘Screw it lets do it.’

Hence Supermarket’s flying roller skate. Agile and fast. At a higher level.

We pull the best people into the room, unsiloed. We strip out the bloat, the theatre, the “we’ll get back to you next quarter.” We put speed and agility above bureaucracy. We believe momentum beats perfection, every time. Supermarket’s workshops and sprints  are not for the faint hearted.
